Saint Patrick's Day is the national holiday of Ireland and it is celebrated on 17th March.

St. Patrick's Day is a big Irish holiday. It is celebrated in United Kingdom, in United States, in Canada and in Australia too.

Shamrock (trifoglio) is the symbol of Saint Patrick. A shamrock is a small, green plant with three leaves. It's good luck!

People wear green clothes, paint their faces green and eat green food.

People listen to Irish music and go to parades.

Put on your green T-shirt or jumper, children!
